| Please join us next Friday, October 6th, and Saturday, October 7th, for the AOPA Fly-In at the Groton-New London Airport (KGON). Featuring two days of seminars, workshops and aircraft displays for pilots – by pilots, there will be something for every level of aviator. For the family, there are museums, art galleries and quaint village shopping. The Mystic area is perfect whether your are a history buff, maritime fan, shop-a-holic or just want to drive the scenic back roads of coastal Connecticut.
We expect a large turn out so if you are flying in, please take time to familiarize yourself with the FAA NOTAM. For those of you familiar with the Groton-New London Airport and the Mystic Jet Center please note that there will be no parking on the ramp outside of the FBO. After landing watch for AOPA volunteers who will guide your aircraft to a safe area from which you can enter the event.
