2020 TBM 940

Our newest TBM 940 just arrived from the Daher factory in Tarbes, France. N940TM, serial number 1341, features the latest in safety, convenience and comfort including auto-throttle, auto-ice protection, G3000 integrated flight deck, heated leather seats and HomeSafe emergency autoland capability.

The TBM 940 enables departures from convenient local airports with runways as short as 2,380ft in length and reaches its maximum altitude of 31,000ft in only 18 minutes 45 seconds.

Cruise in comfort at a blistering 330 KTAS for 1,440NM, or if more range is needed, just pull the power back to long-range cruise and travel up to 1,730NM on a very economical 37 gallons of fuel per hour.

As a result of the the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, purchasing a business aircraft in 2020 can generate tremendous income tax savings. The experts at Aviation Tax Consultants can help plan your TBM acquisition and optimize your tax benefits.

Please call today if we can answer any questions for you regarding either this remarkable aircraft or how your family can enjoy the benefits of private aircraft ownership.

Wishing you blue skies and tailwinds!

Homesafe Autoland
Emergency Autoland: The HomeSafe™ system is activated manually by an easily recognizable orange button atop the cockpit instrument panel. Its software integrates weather and terrain information to select the best airport for landing, taking into account fuel range and runway length. If the TBM e-Copilot system detects pilot incapacitation, the Emergency Descent Mode (EDM) is automatically activated and after a short pause, the HomeSafe emergency autoland system will take control and take the aircraft and its occupants to a safe landing.

Interior: Interior material selections include Black Ebony leather seating with Taupe Gray contrast stitching. Carbone table finish and Taupe Gray wool carpeting. Flat Black metal accents.
N940TM’s Elite interior allows for cabin seating to accommodate club, forward facing or other seating configurations. 6 heated leather seats with adjustable backrests, folding armrests and intermediate seats will delight your passengers.
Autothrottle: Fully integrated with the autopilot, this single power lever autothrottle automatically adjusts the aircraft’s speeds based on the preset flight profile – from climb-out to the landing approach. In addition to reducing pilot workload, the autothrottle enables a TBM 940 to be operated to the edge of approved power regimes for its Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-66D turboprop engine, providing optimum performance and efficiency from the powerplant.
G3000 Integrated Flight Deck featuring three 12-inch high resolution displays, installed side-by-side with primary, synthetic vision, traffic and weather information. New GTC glass touchscreen controllers serve as the pilot’s primary point of entry, displaying communication and other navigation controls.
Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-66D Engine: The PT6A engine family is the world’s most popular engine in its class and has over 400 million hours + of operating history. The PT6A is the only engine to achieve Single Engine Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) status for passenger revenue activity in North America, Australia, Europe and New Zealand.
